Graveside service for Ida Mae Baumgart Driscoll, 92, Lawrence, will be at 11am Tuesday at Hardy Oak Cemetery in rural Jefferson County.
Mrs. Driscoll died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community.
She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Wynne, Ark., the daughter of Mack A. and Louise Haberling Pratt. She graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1937.
Mrs. Driscoll was employed in food service at Kansas University for 21 years, and retired in 1983.
She married Raymond Baumgart on Apr. 2, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1966. She then married Francis Driscoll in Mar., 1973. They later divorced.
Survivors include a son, Raymond “Max” Baumgart, Oskaloosa; a daughter, Wanda Buck, Lawrence; and several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Chris King, a brother A. J. Pratt, a sister, Wanda Schlup, and a grandson, Max Baumgart.
Friends may call from noon to 8pm. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6pm. to 7pm.
