I am very sorry to here that Betty has passed on. I used to work with her at Allied Signal when it was in Lawrence Kansas. My heart goes out to all of her family. May God Bless you all.
I send my thoughts and heart felt feelings for this family in their time of sorrow! May God be with you all.
My thoughts and prayers for all of you. Your mother will be greatly missed. I feel so very lucky to have known and be touched by such a loving and wonderful person. She had a heart of gold and I cherish all the memories of her – especially watching the softball games and all she did for “the team”. I know recent times were hard for her – and Kari, you and I talked about that. She had a great spirit and I hope you know that her spirit and love will always be with you. She was and always will be a great inspiration for many. My heart goes out for your family. The Lord is cheering along with her in the stands up in heaven!
Betty came into my life as a co-worker at KHRC, but soon became that person that I considered lucky to have known & work along side of. We shared some crazy moments as co-workers, memories that bring a smile to me to this day when I think about them. I still have the birthday gift she gave me…Immodium AD. You had to be there to understand. We also threw those mints from Sonic, you know which ones, at a well known controversial religious group that pickets funerals. She worked hard, loved her family and knew when to throw caution to the wind. RIP Betty~
To all of Betty’s family: Betty was a fun lady so full of life and happiness. She was always smiling and so kind. She was a great wife, mom, sister, aunt and friend and she has a great family! We were all blessed to have known her. I am so sorry for your loss.

An awesome person is going up above to watch down over friends and family. We will miss you Betty, but your suffering is now over. Condolences to the Corel family.
I am so very sorry for your loss. Betty was so full of life and I will miss that smile and that laugh of her’s. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sweet Betty Jo. You will be missed by so many!! I went to school with Betty Jo from 7th – 12th grade. She was always a friend to me. I was at her wedding and baby showers and she was at my wedding. We lost touch after high school as I have lived out of state for over 20 years now. Whenever Betty crossed my mind over the years, however, my thoughts were always concluded with such a sincere sense of fondness that I had had then and continue to feel for her. Just thinking of her would always remind me of her kindness and sweetness she so graciously bestowed upon me and I would go away with a smile in my heart. She was ALWAYS so kind to me! I have always been grateful and thankful for her sincere friendship. On another note, Her and Ivan purchased the house my parents built many years ago. It always gave me a sense of happiness and peace that Betty and her family lived in the house our family built (along with assistance from other friends of the family from around that area.) I had occasion to visit Betty recently and found the house remarkably the same as when my family left it. I know your home holds so much love and I grieve and pray for the Corel family. If your children need any assistance in the DFW area, please have them contact me. If they need any type of job leads and/or recommendations to any fortune 500 companies and/or within the federal government, please let me know.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Betty was a very loving and caring person. She was a lot of fun in high school also. She will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

The Robles Family sends its prayers and condolences to the Corel Family. We truly loved Betty. I remember all of the memories our children created together and I’ll never forget the joy Betty and I shared in coaching softball. She was not only a good friend but an an integral part of the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation, Compliance & Preservation Division team. Please call on us if you need anything.
Betty Jo was truly an inspiration and will be missed by her coworkers and friends at KHRC. Her strength and determination these past years battling illness were so evident. While we’ll miss her professionalism and work ethic, we’ll most miss her smile and friendship. Betty Jo was a blessing for us all. Your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Ivan, Quade, Erin, Jena, and Kari I am so sorry for your loss. Betty was an inspiration to us all. She was always upbeat and positive to the very end, she will be missed greatly. My life has been made better to have known such a warm, generous, and genuine person. May God grant each of you peace.
Betty will be missed. Betty was such a crack-up and I will miss that onery smile. I saw her last at her garage sale and will always remember the hug. Remember her always in photos and memmories that you have made. She is now cancer free and looking down on you and smiling.
