Messages & Condolences

Your loving Debra was a follower of god. She had confined herself to the hands of God. Just take solace in believing that God has welcomed her to rest in His arms. She will always remain in your memories. Debra was a caring and loving person who left a profound impact and cherished memories on all she touched. She will be missed by all who know and loved her. Know that death is not an end, but a transition to a place free of pain and suffering. The word of God reminds us in 2nd Timothy 4:7-8, “I have fought a good fight, finished the course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.”

Grandmother Dorothy, Johnothan, Craig, and Dwight…I miss “Aunt Debbie” dearly and I share in your loss. My heart grieves with you. A comforting thought, however, is that Aunt Debbie has been greeted in Heaven by The Almighty, and with the open arms of her dear family members. I will never forget her comforting ways, her smiling face, and just “her”. May The Lord comfort each of you in your grief.

From Pat Nemchock...

I was very saddened to read about Debra’s passing. I worked with her for many years at Lawrence High School and always admired her perfect blend of knowledge, kindness and a fierce determination to help her students find the right path in life- and of course, in math. She was a Lawrence treasure, and will certainly be missed by everyone whose life she touched. I wish I could join you on Jan 3rd for the service- but I am still hobbling from my recent knee surgery and can’t drive yet. My deepest sympathy

John and Dorthey, I was sadened this morning when I read this in the paper. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers. I never had Debbie for a teacher, but I used to visit with her in the hallway before the bell rang. She was always cheerfull, and kept me up to date on what was going on in the Harvey family. God blees you folks, and if you ever need anything, just ring.

It’s so hard to find words to express the feelings of sadness for Debra’s departure. However, she fought a long and brave battle and now she can rest.
