Dale, Christine and family,
I was lucky to have met you both and Steve when I worked with all of you at the KU Union Bookstore in the 1980’s. Steve was a joy to work with, nicest guy I ever met. Always a smile on his face and a great work ethic. He left us too soon. I know his absence at home will be felt by his wife and kids. Please know he will not be forgotten.
My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Steve was a great man. He will be missed by many.
Loma, Chris and Danny
Steve was a great guy and I am glad I got to spend 5 years with him! I loved Steve very much and we had a lot of fun times together. I wish I could be there for his service. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
To Dan and his family I was so sorry to hear about your brother passing. I just found out so I won’t be able to see you, but I will visit you soon. Please let your mom know how sorry I am. Take care of yourself and family.
Steve was a beautiful person both inside and out and will be missed by all who knew him. He was especially a blessing to my son during the loss of his father 3 years ago and I will be forever grateful Our hearts and prayers go out to all of you.
God Bless,
Sandy Floersch and Family
Dearest Gregg Family (Dale, Loma, Christine, Danny, and all Steve’s children and extended family),
I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot express what you must be feeling during this time of loss and sorrow. Losing a family member is very difficult.
I am sorry I did not get re-acquainted with Steve after high school. I would see Loma on occasion and catch up with her on family news. I am so glad Steve lived a full life and was surrounded by so many family and friends who loved and cared about him.
I still have fond memories of all the high school plays we were in together. Prom and other school functions. You sure knew how to impress a girl with the black T-bird you drove me to prom in. =) Steve always new how to make me laugh! =)
Steve, please say ‘hello’ to Martin (brother) and Dorothy (mom) for me. You’re in good company with all those who have passed before you and have saved a place for you in God’s heavenly kingdom. I look forward to the day when we’ll see each other again.
Hold close to your hearts all the wonderful memories you have of Steve. Time does heal, but there’s no set time for healing, it will happen and you’ll feel at peace when the healing has taken place.
Hugs and much love,
~Le-Thu
~~~ Cousin Steve ~~~
You touched the hearts of many, with your always cheerful smile.
You loved like no tomorrow, and were patient all the while.
You never uttered judgement, or said a single negative word.
Though often quiet and contained, your spirit was always heard!
Those of us that knew you have been blessed beyond compare.
But your passing left us shocked, with a load that’s hard to bear.
Still, we know that you’re among us, in so many ways indeed,
And that your spirit is alive and healthy, but from your body it’s been freed.
We know you’ll walk beside us, as we go about our days.
And we’ll try to laugh and smile, cuz you would’ve wanted it that way!
One day we’ll see you once again, in a place where there’s no pain.
And we’ll never, ever forget you, for your life was all our gain!
RIP Steven Gregg ~ Love Forever and Ever ~ Until we meet again.
I will truly miss you, but Thank God so much for allowing us to have had these recent times together, as well as ALL those times we had throughout the years, growing up and beyond. Give my love to Daddy, Brenda, Grandma and all the rest. I’ll see you one day among the wind, the moon and stars, in the beautiful place where only love exists.
Your Cousin, (like other sister) Lana xoxo
