It is especially difficult when a family loses their child. Jesus loved children and when he said that “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” that included children. (John 5:28,29) Please accept my sincere condolences.

This hit me harder than Bruce’s death; I remembered what a laughing boy he was; then I realized that I was feeling sorry for myself and all the family and friends.

What could be happier than for a Christian to go home to
God!!!

I thank God that we had him for more than twenty years!!

Our prayers are with each family member, friend and,
especially, with his girl friend.

Love to all,

Terry and Dorothy

From Witmer Family...

The Witmer family extends its deepest condolences to Richard, Regina and the entire Sanders family. Travis was a very special individual. I had the privilege and honor to work with Travis many years ago when he was a “Wrangler”. Never the boisterous one, never one to question what was being asked and always doing everything he could to help his teammates out at every chance he could. He was the consummate player and never complained about how long practice was, the heat or how well the team was doing (or not doing) and that was when he was in grade school.
I have occasionally crossed paths with Travis and he was always gracious and never shy to shake hands. We will all mourn this tremendous loss but I hope over time that this void and pain that you feel now will be filled with a celebration of his life and the memories you will always have of him. We still have the collage from the Wrangler days and we will always have this to remember what an outstanding young man he grew into. We will mourn his passing but we will celebrate his life even more. I am sure all of his friends would agree, once a Wrangler always a Wrangler, once a Chesty Lion always a Chesty Lion, but more importantly you raised a great son.
