Messages & Condolences

From Rene Tucker, Charlie Strong...

Lew was such a kind hearted, and loving man. He always took time to ask about, our health and well being, and always asked if we needed anything. Recently, he loaned me his car, to drive to a KC hospital, every day for a week, to spend time with my son. When I returned it, shiny clean, and full of gas, he said “NOW it probably won’t run right, with all of that dirt removed”. He was good to my mom, and our family. I loved him, like a father, and will dearly miss him.

From Carol Langston...

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a special person. God be with the family

From Adrian and Kim Turner...

Lew was a good person. He had a heart of gold and a wonderful sense of humor. The one thing that always impressed us was his knowledge of things. He could build anything with his hands. Through the years he helped us with several home projects. The last being that he taught Adrian how to fix a roof last fall. He couldn’t stand to just be on the ground instructing. He had to climb a ladder and sit on the edge of the roof to oversee the situation. He never believed in doing anything half way. If he was doing it, it was done right and it was quality work. He was a class act. We will miss him and we feel very blessed to have known him.
