Sharon was my next door neighbor and friend.
I will miss going outside and not seeing her work in her back yard. She loved her landscaping but always had enough time to stop and chat a while.
She always showed interest in me and my family, and if she knew we were going through struggles or had a family member visiting, you would find her at our front door with a coffee cake or whatever fit the occasion. She was a blessing to be around.
I will miss your smiling face Sharon, and our pleasant conversations.
Sharon was my coworker, friend, confidante, mentor, and the grandma I never had. She gave me four years of friendship through work, and a beautiful black kitten born in her back yard, who is four years old today. Sharon is gone too soon. But her legacy of wisdom, warmth, friendship, kindness, and courage will live with those close to her forever. I’ve missed you, Sharon. I will never forget you. And that black cat you gave me is smart ๐ I wish I’d been able to show you all the tricks she’s learned. And of course, like us, she’ll work for cheese ๐ Love you, Sharon.
