Frances Patricia Reeves

A visitation for Frances Patricia Reeves, 75, Leawood, will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date.

Frances was born in Harris county, Texas, on January 15, 1940, the daughter of the late Pelham and Odelle Mott Jones. She peacefully entered God’s Kingdom with her family by her side on May 22, 2015.

She was married to her best friend and the love of her life Travis Reeves who preceded her in death in 2006.

Frances was a loving mother who’s greatest joy was being with her family. Most of all, she looked forward to seeing her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed music, movies, boating and fishing. She attended Southern Baptist Church in Overland Park.

Survivors include daughter Jennifer Reeves; sons Michael and wife Amy Reeves, Mitchell and wife Lorrie Reeves. Grandchildren John, Brandon (Savannah), Ryan (Abby), Amy (Matt) and 5 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Cay Wheeler and Martha Keeley, one brother, Thomas Jones, and one aunt, Bessie Hodges.

Friends may call from Noon to visitation time on Tuesday, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive them from 6-7 pm.

The family suggests memorial contributions made to the American Stroke Association, sent in care of the funeral home.
