Troy Eugene Dugan

Memorial services for Troy Eugene Dugan, 47, Shawnee, will be 2 pm Friday, July 10, 2015, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 4:30-5:30.

He died unexpectedly at his home in Shawnee, Kansas.

Troy was born August 4, 1967, in Wellington, KS, the son of Larry Duane and Marrianne Martinez Dugan.

He worked as a light truck services dispatcher for Midway Ford for nineteen years. Troy was an avid fan of all things Royals, Chiefs, and KU Football/Basketball.

Troy met the love of his life, Cindy Dunn, in 2010 at Set em up Jack’s, during a MU-KU basketball game. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, his brother Dusty (Stephanie Lockhart), and niece Ashley Lent (Alex). Troy was soon to be a great uncle to baby boy/girl Lent. He was also survived by his aunt Kay Dugan and his aunt Sharon & uncle Gary Seley.

Troy loved spending time with his friends & was loved by everyone who knew him.

Friends may call from noon to 8 pm Thursday. The visitation will be from 4:30-5:30.

Memorial contributions may be made to the KU Endowment (Football Program) sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Troy was a classmate of ours…. Wellington High School 1985. He was a gentle soul that had a smile for everyone. We are coming upon our 30th class reunion …he will be greatly missed!
