Claire, Zac, Mike & Family,
I met Dawn over 20 years working for SM Schools, before you were even born. She was a driven, athletic, fun vivacious young woman who loved the Kansas City Chiefs…even back then. Both of my daughters babysat for you over the years, then Jackie had her own…Michael, and Dawn coached and mentored him over the past 10 years. Her zest for life and willingness to lead and coach the next generation will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Christie, Jeff, Jackie, Samantha & Michael
We are all very saddened to learn of Dawn’s passing. She was an amazing person and we enjoyed getting to know her during her years coaching the basketball team Megan played on. Joe enjoyed assisting her as she worked with the girls and helped each develop their potential. She was a leader, a wonderful warm person, and an inspiration to the young people she worked with. We will miss her and send her family our deepest condolences.
Thinking of you all.
Mike and Family,
We were sorry to hear about Dawn, and want you to know that we will be thinking of you and her children. She will be missed! Bonnie Simon and Kansas Recreation and Park Association
