Donna Remby-Weaver

Inurnment services for Donna, 57, Colorado Springs, CO (formerly of Lawrence,) will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday, March 1st at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donna died February 6, 2016 in Colorado Springs, CO. after battling cancer for several years. She was born July 14, 1958, in Lawrence. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1976. Donna traveled extensively throughout Colorado, Texas and South Carolina. She was Assistant Pastor at the L.G. Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Donna donated most of her days volunteering for the L.G. Church feeding, counseling and caring for the homeless.

She was loved by many from the church as well as her family in Lawrence, Tennessee and Texas.

She is survived by her parents, Jessie and Joetta (Alumbaugh) Weaver of Lawrence; three daughters, Sadie Jones, of Dallas, TX; Tina Bell of Monks Corner, SC; Juliet Oyeleye of Memphis, TN; two sisters, Sheila Weaver & Lisa Weaver both of Lawrence; a brother, Jesse Wayne Remby of Lawrence; and three grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to: Joetta Weaver for the Donna Remby-Weaver Memorial Fund.

She used to babysit me in my younger days
Throughout the years we would bump into one
