Funeral services for Seth Michael Alan Quick, 19, Lawrence, will be at 2 pm Thursday, May 11, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, with Terry Jacobsen officiating. A graveside inurnment service will be held Friday, May 12, at 11 am at Oak Hill Cemetery. Seth died Monday, May 1, 2017, in Lawrence, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Apr. 1, 1998, in Lawrence, the son of Michael Quick and Misty Nichols. He attended Lawrence High School. Seth was a drywall finisher with Flawless Drywall. He played baseball while growing up, and recently enjoyed playing softball. Seth also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Survivors include his mother, Misty Nichols, Lawrence; his father, Michael Quick, Texarkana, Tex.; a sister, Brooklynne Quick, Lawrence; and many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, May 10, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Seth Quick Memorial Fund.
