R. Mabel Heinrich Hagerman

Funeral Mass for R. Mabel Heinrich Hagerman, 97, Lawrence, will be at 2:30 pm Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, with Fr. Mick Mulvany officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence, Kansas.

She died Friday, June 9, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Hagerman was born May 22, 1920. She lived all her life in Douglas County. She married Louis W. Heinrich on May 3, 1941. He died December 25, 1983. She later married Aubrey Hagerman on Sept. 26, 1987. He died Feb. 6, 2000.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Women’s Guild, the Autumn Club, and Friendship Club.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Provo, Lawrence; a son, Carl Heinrich (Debbie), Vinland; six grandsons, two granddaughters, 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. A daughter, Edith Marie Peterson preceded her in death.

A Rosary will be said at 6:30 pm Sunday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, and a visitation will follow until 8 pm. Mabel and I were sisters-in-law. She was married to Louis, the older Heinrich brother and I was married to Harold the younger Heinrich brother. What a dear, dear lady! I send my love to Linda and Carl and all of Mabel’s family and friends.
