JoAnne will be greatly missed by family and friends. May her warm personality give strength to face this challenging time. My condolences to all in the family. The words of Hebrews 2:14-15 will give you insight and comfort during the disquieting moments.
JoAnn have so enjoyed visiting with you in recent years at the LHS Ladies lunches and talking about Lawrence and LHS when we were young. Shall miss seeing your sunny face/voice.
My beautiful wonderful cousin and friend left me with enough laughs and fun and garage sale adventures and dining out memories that I can reminisce and smile recalling each one. I miss her but the memories I treasure are forever! We laughed , teased and always had a great time together. She was so active and courageous and fought through her pain! She was so independent and capable of making her way….and doing everything HER WAY! Be strong Butch…..she would want you to be !!!!

Jo, you were a dear friend and I’m going to miss you a great deal. I loved your wit, your humor, and the stories you could tell about people and life in Lawrence. I admired your memory and knowledge of history; I always learned something new every visit we had. I’m sorry your last months were filled with pain, but know that you rest in peace now. You made my world just a little bit brighter.
