Billie Marlene Cannon Brouhard

Graveside services for Billie Marlene Cannon Brouhard, 59, Lawrence, will be at 11 am Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Billie died Sat., May 5, 2018, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 3, 1959, in Lawrence, the daughter of Harold Jefferson and Betty Lou Lee Cannon. She graduated from Lawrence High School. She had worked at Kansas Color Press and Dimension Graphics before working as a home health care provider for more than 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids, and was a member of the Latter Day Saints church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Cannon and wife Melissa, Lawrence, and Shane Brouhard, Lawrence; three grandchildren, Axton Brouhard, Waylon Brouhard, and Abigail Cannon; and was a second mom to many other children. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Harold Cannon, Richard Cannon, Sharon Cannon, Dorothy Cannon, and Thomas Cannon.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 7 pm at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Billie Brouhard Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
