Visitation for Mischelene Erika Tackett Mathe, 39, Lawrence, will be from 4-5 pm Saturday, May 12, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
She died Monday, May 7, 2018, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Mischelene was born on September 29, 1978, in Harvey, IL, the daughter of David Albert and Shelly Lee Tackett Wentler.
She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1997.
Mischelene worked for Olan Mills Portrait Studios, while she was there some of her work made the company award winning.
She enjoyed going fishing, going to the casino, watching movies at the theater, painting her nails, coloring her mandalas, collecting themed playing cards, Minions, Furbies and taking pictures.
Mischelene married Kenneth Dwane Mathe on December 10, 2001, he survives of the home.
Other survivors include her Dog Petey, Sister Melissa Tunnell, Mother Shelly Wentler.
She is preceded in death by her Father David Wentler

Misch and Kenny are the best friends I have ever known. My heart is broken. I should have been a better friend. I thought she just knew my feelings. I have many memories of her that bring a smile to my face. I’m sending much love and many prayers for Kenny and her mom and sister. I love you forever Misch!
This wonderful lady took many cherished pictures of my 3 oldest babies. They are grown now but she was the only one who made them smile and they did not run crying from. Many thanks for these precious memories that this special lady made for our family and surely so many others. Many thanks for all the wonderful chats we had in between those photos as well. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who loved her.
