Charlotte Fewel Montgomery

Memorial services for Charlotte Fewel Montgomery, 71, Lawrence, will be 11am Friday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Ms. Montgomery died January 26, 2022, at Medicalodges Eudora.

She was born February 24, 1950, in Lawrence, the daughter of Ivan Thomas and Betty Marie Stevens Gibler.  She attended Vinland grade school and graduated from Baldwin High School in 1968.  She attended Plymouth Congregational Church.

She was a caregiver by nature.  She enjoyed raising her children and taking care of others.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelsey Dick and husband Tyler of Pomona; sons, Keeler Montgomery and wife Shannon of Bend, OR, Tremayne Baker of Lawrence, Santino Baker of Lawrence; and granddaughter, Adalyn Dick of Pomona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Fewel; sister, Mona Fleeger; and brother, Edward Gibler.

The family will receive friends from 10-11am Friday, before the memorial service.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Lawrence Sunshine Foundation, sent in care of the funeral home.
