Memorial Services for Ella Mae (Chenoweth) Jump, 81, Lawrence, will be 10 am, June 11, 2022 at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
Ella Mae (Chenoweth) Jump passed away in her home May 23, 2022.
She was born March 3, 1941, in Modesto California to Francis Marion and Marian (Esther) Ella (Addis) Chenoweth.
Ella was raised on farms in McCune and Parsons Kansas and graduated from LCCHS in Altamont Kansas.
She married Richard Lee Jump on February 11, 1961 in Parsons, Kansas, He survives of the home.
Ella is survived by her children Dale Leah Sparkes and Spouse James Sparkes Jr., Teresa Kay Thomasson, Randall Dean Jump, Jacqueline Beth Randolph. Grandchildren; James D. Sparkes, Samantha Sparkes, Brandon Laing, Jacob Thomasson, Katie Jump, Megan Jump, Zoe Randolph, Nathan Randolph. Great Grandchild; Lila Sparkes. Siblings; Marion Chenoweth, Wanda Knight, Mary Whitaker, Jerry Chenoweth and many nieces and nephews.
As a teenager, I was blessed to visit Ella when my brother Dick was on active duty with the Kansas National Guard. I realized that she was a wonderful person. My brother was fortunate to marry her.
