Graveside services for Margaret Lavona Hout, 95, Lawrence will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16,2022, at Clinton Cemetery. Mrs. Hout died Tuesday, September 13 at her home.
Born on September 21, 1926, in Richland, Kansas, she was one of ten children born to Ira and Elizabeth Moore.
On September 28, 1948, she married Allen D (Bud) Hout in Lawrence, KS. He died July 2, 2002. They lived in Clinton, Kansas, until they moved to Lawrence in August 2001 due to Bud’s failing health.
Other survivors include sons Jerry L Hout and wife Carol, Allen W. Hout and wife Cindy Hout.
She leaves behind 6 grandchildren, many, many, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Brandon Ree Hout, her parents and siblings.
