Words fail me at this news, so many, many memories and smiles of Art as a part of my youth from 1st grade at St. Leo’s, through Horton Hornets and then Chargers. The happy thoughts of altar boy experiences, dreaded football practices for 3 years that blossomed our senior year. And who could forget all those pickup baseball games that sometimes ended up as Horton Kids vs. The Ramirez family. Through it all, Art was so giving and cheerful. I honestly and thankfully have no memory of him ever being truly angry. Thank you Art for all those memories and sharing some after my mother’s funeral… I am sorry I will miss yours. I know your journey to Jesus was short because they couldn’t wait to see your smiling face. God Bless you and all your family for the precious life you led that touched all.
