Graveside services for Charles Wilson Tucker, 71, Lawrence, will be 10am Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Tucker died August 4, 2019, at his home.
He was born June 25, 1948, in Lawrence, the son of Charles Vernon and Viola Verna Svoda Tucker.
Mr. Tucker served in the United States Marines during Vietnam, receiving the bronze star among other awards. He worked as a forklift driver for Cargo Products. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, reading, playing softball, baseball, and basketball, watching KU basketball and the Kansas City Royals.
He married Julie Ann McLaren on April 30, 1996, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include two step children, Brandon Eller of Lawrence and Amy Damon of Manhattan; a sister, Karen Anderson and husband Kent of Gig Harbor, WA; three step grandchildren, Charles, William, and Harper.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
