Donald “Don” Gene Strole, 72, passed away peacefully in his home in Lawrence, Kansas, on August 29, 2024, after a 15-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Don was born on February 6, 1952, in Herington, Kansas. He graduated from Herington High School in 1970, Kansas State University in 1975, and University of Kansas School of Law in 1981. He practiced law in his private practice for over 25 years in Lawrence, Kansas.
Don married Linda Strole (née Beisel) on December 27, 1975.
He is survived by Linda; their son Geoff Strole and his wife, Cindy Strole, and granddaughter, Sawyer Strole, of Eudora, Kansas; their son Nick Strole and wife, Leigh McLennon, of Melbourne, Australia.
