Graveside services for Joycelyn Clark, 89, Overland Park, will be 1 p.m., Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Reverend Leo Barbee officiating.
Mrs. Clark died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
She was born January 10, 1927, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Gayland and Anna Roberts Anderson. She attended Liberty Memorial High School and then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Mrs. Clark worked as a registered nurse. She enjoyed fishing, reading, working jigsaw puzzles, traveling and attending church.
She was married to Walter Woods and Alonzo Clark, both of whom preceded her in death.
Survivors include sisters, Martha Stafford of Virginia Beach, VA, Marjorie Jardan of Overland Park, KS, and Gladys Hankins of Cincinnati, OH; cousins, Norma Jean Moore, Meta Wells, Chudney Jamerson, James Jamerson, Naren Moore, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Aberdeen Village Nursing Home, 17500 W. 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66061.
