Lura Irene Holloway McAlexander, 94, Lecompton, died Dec. 11, 2017, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, daughter Vera, sisters Geraldine and Doris, and brother Eugene.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice, grandsons Bill (Christi) and John, and four great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, Dec. 16th at 1 pm at Lecompton United Methodist Church. Family dinner to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Lecompton United Methodist Church or the Lecompton Historical Society, in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.
