Dorothy Maxine “Mickey” Lingenfelser

Graveside services for Dorothy Maxine “Mickey” Lingenfelser, 85, Tonganoxie, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Maceo Gray officiating.

Ms. Lingenfelser died Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Tonganoxie Nursing & Rehab.

She was born September 24, 1930, in Lawrence, the daughter of Delbert Merle and Nellie Irene Church Beers.

Ms. Lingenfelser was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, working on word puzzles, and collecting cows.

She is survived by four children, Gloria Jean Curtis of Kansas City, MO, Charles Richard Lingenfelser and wife Joy of Grandview, MO, John Howard Lingenfelser and wife Tracy of Lawrence, and Dorothy Anne Niver and husband James of Baldwin City, KS; a sister, Margie Hummelgaard of Tonganoxie, KS; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.

Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Dorothy Lingenfelser Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
