Funeral services for Helen Bernice Curry, 75, Overland Park, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Curry died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at her home.
She was born Oct. 26, 1934, in Pleasanton, Kan., the daughter of Harlan Paul and Almeda Alice Ross Castle. She attended Liberty Memorial High School.
Mrs. Curry began working for Sprint in 1977, and retired in 2001 as an accounting supervisor after 24 years of service.
Survivors include three daughters, Valerie Curry, of the home, Cathy Fenton, Eudora, and Connie Hogard, Lenexa; a sister, Mildred Tryon, Lawrence, and four grandchildren, Brian Cletcher, Jason Hogard, Olyvia Rose Fenton, and Rachele Lynn Hogard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Harry Tryon.
Friends may call from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Bernice Curry Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home, 601 Ind., Lawrence, KS, 66044.
