I am so sorry to hear of Gussie’s passing. I knew her best when I was in high school and worked with her at the Douglas County Extension office. She was a wonderful lady and made work a nice place to be. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Gussie was very special to me and will be missed. Her watchful eye and good heart got me through some tough days as manager at PC. No one could even come close to her peanut brittle! She brought her pan to the clubhouse and demonstrated how to do it but mine was never the same. Great memories, great lady. God Bless you and yours.

Jim, Marilyn, and family,
I was saddened to hear about your mom’s passing. Then I thought of all the good memories I have of her when she worked at Edmond’s Grocery. She always had something positive to say. I remember as a young girl with fragle self-esteem, she always said nice things to me and made me feel great. I think I made excuses to go over to Edmond’s just to see her. I want to let you know we are thinking of you and how special Gussie was. Terri Bysom Stringer, Clyde and Pauline Bysom
