Ty & Mistie,
Words cannot express our sadness! Keith, Brian and I were shocked to hear about Preston’s accident. I can tell you the first thought was what you two parents must be going through and our second was that HUGE smile Preston always had on his face. Keith recalled his humor or the tournament in Rossville when Brian threw a kid out at home from left field and Preston walked over said to Brian “is that all you got?” . Preston was so full of Life and he did live it everyday to it’s fullest. We were blessed to know such a wonderful family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

From Lois Hart-Spillman...

My heart breaks for your family. We used to live on the corner of 29th and Fenwick. Preston would come over and play football and baseball in the yard with my son, Travis and the other neighborhood kids when they were little. Alexis is a sorority sister to my daughter, Laci. We moved to Wichita area in 2005 so the girls lost contact. Laci was so excited this past summer when she found out that Alexis was going to rush Sigma Sigma Sigma. They were able to re-connect from when they were little girls. My prayers are going up for your family and especially Alexis. Lois Hart-Spillman

From The Witmers...

We are deeply saddened by Preston’s passing. Your friends will stand beside and behind you and your family as you deal with this sudden loss.

When we learned of Preston’s passing over the weekend the first thing that came to mind was his infectious smile. He had the ability to push all of the wrong buttons and still you ended up smiling and laughing with him.

Brad and I were driving home from KC when Brad received the news of Preston’s tragic accident. Brad rarely shows emotion, but I could tell from his demeanor and eyes that this hit home and it hit him hard. I am certain that is true of all of Preston’s friends. Friends are forever no matter how long or short you know someone. I know for a fact that Brad will always speak highly of Preston.

I (Dave) am honored to have been a very small part of Preston’s life. I am a better person and parent because of my time with him. He always greeted us with a smile and a hand shake. When we did meet he would take pleasure in reminding me of the time he knocked me out during the state tournament we were in as Wranglers. Although I don’t remember that incident too clearly, it was obviously something that stuck with him over time and I am happy to share that memory with everyone who asks.

You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers
