She assisted 4-H members with many sewing projects. For many years, she hosted spring and fall “vet days” at her small farm where vets from Pend O’Reille Vet Clinic provided medical care for large and small animals in the Noxon area, thus saving owners long trips with their animals.

I was introduced to Mary the first day that I brought my own father to Bridge Haven. What a sweet and wonderful lady she was! I only knew her for a short while; my father passed away barely two weeks after being at Bridge Haven. The visits that I did make to my father were made much brighter with Mary sharing her friendly smile and always had a few kind words or questions for me! She was a delight at the dinner table as she tried to help my father to eat and drink! May God Bless her family in the passing of Mary. My prayers are with you all!
