Lynn Harry Nelson PhD, 80, Lawrence, died Sept. 2, 2012 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. No services are planned and cremation will take place.
Mr. Nelson was born September 21, 1931, the son of Lynn Arthur and Helen Pearl Emmons Nelson.
He married Carolyn Ann Seymour, December 23, 1962 in Amarillo, Texas. She survives of the home.
Mr. Nelson was a Professor of Medieval History at the University of Kansas.
He is also survived by a son, Lynn Albert Nelson.
