I was so sad to hear that Deon had passed, I hadn’t seen or spoken with him for awhile but I will always remember his smile and laugh everytime you saw him he was always the same. I knew Deon from our years at New York School and all the way up to High School. My heart goes out to the family especially to you Mrs. Willits you have always been such a nice and sweet person may God be with you in your time of need.

From Theresa Gauna...

My heart has been heavy with the loss of Deon, He much apart of our family, we loved him dearly. Jimmy and Deon had good and bad time together. There life were not easy, they both worked hard. They lived for the day, sometime for the moment. One thing I will remember that Deon always greeted us, when ever we saw one another. You will be missed. Hope you and Jimmy will see one another in heaven. R>I>P> Love Theresa Smith Gauna

I am sorry to learn of Deon’s death. He was in one of my English classes at Central and I remember him as always polite and willing to listen. He had a fun-loving side too! I am glad to have had him in my life. I send my sympathy to his family.

From Gregory and Maria Galloway...

It is with a saddened heart, that I send my sincerest condolences. Deon was one of my oldest friends, since kindergarten and throughout our entire lives. Although it has been many years since we last spoke, I would still stop by the family home, to check up on him. Even though he might not have been there his Mom would always tell me “Well, Deon is Deon”. He might have been a bit rough around the edges, but I accept that, because that is who he was.
To the Family, please rest assure that he is in a better place, now. I also pray that The Host of The Most High give you all some peace and solace, during these difficult times.
Gregory Galloway
