Shelly Lynn Beilman

Memorial services for Shelly Lynn Beilman, 64, Edwardsville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the Tonganoxie Christian Church.

Mrs. Beilman died Monday, September 30, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 5, 1948 in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Aurie L and Carol Grace Renn Freeman. She graduated from Tonganoxie High School in 1966 and later earned an associate’s degree.

Mrs. Beilman was a secretary for Hartford Insurance Company. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, going to the casino, shopping, gardening, visiting her home in Las Vegas, and playing Scrabble and Sudoku .

She married Donald F. Beilman March 31, 1986 in Lenexa, Kansas. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include children, Roxanne Keller and husband Justin of Tonganoxie, Stacey Glidewell of Kansas City, Kansas; stepchildren, Lucy Harrity of Shawnee, Steve Beilman and wife Sunday of Edwardsville, Eric Beilman of Edwardsville; siblings, Terry Freeman of Tonganoxie, Sharon Daniel of Tonganoxie; grandchildren, DJ Harrity, Nic Beilman, Sanoma Hillebert, Wyatt Zarda, Seth Reliford, Marissa Vaughn, Dax Keller; and great grandchild, Gage Owens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Freeman; and grandson, Caleb Garrison.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the KU Cancer Center, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home & Crematory, PO Box 1260, Lawrence, KS 66044.
