He was born November 8, 1949, in Des Moines, IA, the son of Charles J. and Georgetta M. Wiley Brock. He attended high school in West Des Moines.

Kevin was an organized, self motivated, independent man. These traits helped him do very well as a supervisor. He also had a very strong love for animals. In his retirement, Kevin enjoyed gardening, watching old TV shows and playing computer games. After retirement Kevin enjoyed spending time in his condo in Florida.

He married Linda L. Kerns on January 6, 1975, in Adel, IA. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, two brothers Kim and Kent Brock, both of Boynton Beach FL., three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions made to VNA Hospice or Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.

I want to offer my condolences for your loss of Kevin. Reading about him, makes me think about the traits, my Dad, Uncle Gene had, which seem so similar.
