From John...

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.

From Sharon D. Wenger...

To the entire Stanley family: Troy was a gem! I first met him last spring when the township was working on our road. He returned many times to fish in our pond, clear out some of the excess deer, play with my dog, help with assorted jobs around the farm, and then sit in my kitchen, enjoying a beer and some great conversation. He even took care of the whole shebang (twice a day) while I was out of town over Christmas. Kiva (my dog) and I had looked forward to a long friendship with him, but it wasn’t to be. We will forever love and cherish the memories we have. Our sympathies to you all!
