Sorry for your loss, Evy. Oliver was a great man. I will miss his humor and seeing and talking to him especially about gardening.
Glen and Carla and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My comfort in the death of my Father has been the scripture. “O, death where is your sting?” For we know that our loved ones who served the Lord are in a much better place. But we miss their presence with us. We know that there is victory, because they live eternally with our Father in heaven. I pray for blessing and strength in this time.
I Corinthians 15
“O Death, where is your sting?[h]
O Hades, where is your victory?”[i]
56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
Susan and Brian
My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Oliver was such a gentle soul and a great man of God. He did so much for Lawrence Christian Center with mowing, planting flowers, and cooking the Easter breakfast. I consider it an honor to have known him, and look forward to seeing him again in heaven!
