To Big Ed’s family. Was sad to hear of his passing. I did some of my best dancing in my younger days to Big Ed and the Bad Lands Band. Him and Darrin Smith were awesome together. In later years, my wife ran a paper route for the Lawrence Journal World. I never worried about her down on the paper dock early in the mornings, because I knew Ed would be watching out for everyone. Bet he is now bellowing out one of my favorite songs, Seven Spanish Angels. God bless you, his family.

Larry and I are so sorry to hear about Ed and Shirley. While we didn’t see them very often, we cared deeply for both of them. The Erskin family made me feel so welcomed when I moved from Idaho to Kansas.
