Ruth worked with me as our secretary in the Tertiary Oil Recovery Project at the University for a number of years. After her retirement she attended our Christmas luncheons and banquets and it was always great to see her. For the banquet she brought a special fruit salad which she made and knew I loved. We kidded about it. I will miss her. Gatherings won’t seen right with her not being there.
I knew Ruth through Green Thumb Garden club. She shared so many secrets for making good floral arrangements with us. For our 50th anniversary of the club, she resurrected designs that she had made over the years. And she recruited the Vintage Players to do a skit for us. She will be missed.
