Memorial services for Virginia B. Morrill, 94, Lawrence, will be at 10 am Monday at Mustardseed Church, with Paster Pieter Willems officiating. Mrs. Morrill died Friday, September 4, 2015, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 14, 1920, in Alden, Kan., the daughter of Jesse B. and Lillie M. Stout. Mrs. Morrill was employed at Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co. in the early 1940’s, and the University of Kansas in Lawrence from 1964-83.
She married William B. Morrill and enjoyed 54 years of marriage. He preceded her in death, as did a son, Michael Morrill, and a sister, Estelle M. Parish. Survivors include a son, Brenton Morrill, Oklahoma City, Okla.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Mustard Seed Church, in care of the funeral home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS, 66044.

I was so Blessed to have her as a wonderful friend an inspiration.
I am so sorry for your loss. Virginia was such a dear friend to Lisa and I the last few years she was in her house and after she moved on to her apartment. we love her dearly. I learned so much from her and was lucky and blessed to have her in my life.
