Services for Mary Janet Gray, 62, Lawrence, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.
A visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
Ms. Gray died Thursday, October 8, 2015.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
Hannah, I was a friend of your Dad & Mom. I know how difficult it is to lose one’s parents, I lost mine in 6 months time. Please accept my deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss. I know Jerry passed last year, and I regret not being to see them both more. I am dealing with health issues myself. You had great parents, and I miss them. God Bless you.

I’m sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I enjoyed getting to know her when you were in my classroom and I saw her a few times at Dillions later on. I have such fond memories of her and know that she loved you so much and wanted the best for you.

Hana, I am so so sorry to read this. Mary was a dear friend of mine. I took her to the hospital a few times when she was pregnant with you. I was at your dads service and Mary bless her heart had me to sit with the family. I was so proud!! I tried to call several times after your dads service to the number that Mary gave me but I could never reach her. I am in Arizona now and won’t be able to attend any services. Know that I am thinking of you and I truly hate to hear of this.
