So sorry to hear of the passing of LouAnn. We knew her and Marc from his work place years ago. Deepest Sympathy.
So sorry about Luann. She was a friend of my children Cheryl Bob and Shirley. Her parents were our good friends. We went dancing many times with Francis and Lucille. Miss them all.
Conrady Family,
I am so sorry about Lou’s passing. I met Mark and Lou when my husband took me to meet his Uncle Mark. What an experience that was to meet those two. Lou was always so nice to me. We talked nursing in all of our phone calls. She cared about the daily lives of my children and asked about activities they were in. She genuinely cared. She will be missed not only by the Conrady family, but the Winchester family as well. Blessed to know that Mark and Louann are together again!
I met LouAnn 20 years ago when I moved to Lawrence and joined a cardiology practice here. She was the head nurse at the practice and was invaluable to me as I learned about the community, the hospital, the patients and the other physicians in town. That was my first private practice experience and LouAnn was incredibly patient with me as I slowly learned to function efficiently in a new practice environment.
I worked with LouAnn for many years in that practice. She was without a doubt one of the most caring and intelligent nurses with whom I have ever had the privilege to practice. Her ability and her work ethic made a tremondous difference in the care of hundreds, if not thousands, of patients. No medical professional can ask for a more fulfilling career than that.
After she retired from our practice, LouAnn and I kept up primarily through cards and letters. My wife and I received a beautiful Christmas card and letter from her just a few weeks ago. LouAnn was a great nurse, a trusted friend, and a fantastic person. She will be missed by a great many people and I am certainly one of those.

Phil and Family
I have so many wonderful memories of spending time at the Conrady house in Corbin. Lou Ann was one of my best friends growing up. I was so sorry to hear that she had passed. What a wonderful reunion she will have with her husband, and Francis and Lucille. Rest in Peace, dear friend.
I had the pleasure of working along side of LouAnn and she was a wonderful caring nurse and friend. She will be missed, but she is with Mark again. My thoughts and prayer are with you all.
Phil, Kellie, Brandon and Austin: I am so sorry to hear of LouAnn’s passing. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Lou Ann was definitely the friend I had since birth. Being only 9 days apart in age and living a block away when we grew up, went to Corbin school and she was in my wedding, we went through a lot together. Each time I talked to her she always had a positive outlook whether it was about her neighbors or the deer in her yard she seemed content. I will miss her.
Phil, Kellie, Brandon & Austin, you are in my thoughts at this difficult time. So very sorry for the loss of LouAnn. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you all.

I have so many memories of LouAnn and the rest of the family growing up. Fond memories! You all were such a fun part of it. As some one said above, knowing we will be joining our loved ones that have gone before us is such a blessing. It doesn’t make it any easier on those that are left behind. No matter how close or far that relationship may be. My thoughts, prayers and tears are with you and your Phil.
