No services are planned for Doris Anderson Stubeck, Lawrence, who died Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at Neuvant House, Lawrence. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Horner, of Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Fred Stubeck.

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Doris was a big part of my childhood for as far back as I can remember. Being in your parents home, her sewing room, the books, sweet times and good memories. You were the only girl I had within walking distance of our home. Sending my love to you Ann.♡
Doris and Fred were in our neighborhood on Winona Avenue before we moved to our present home. I always admired her friendly smile and her classy dress. She was always very nice to our children too.
I was saddened to hear of Doris’ passing. I had known her since I was a little girl. She grew up near the little town of Clinton.
In the past years, I have enjoyed talking to her in the grocery store. She was a loving, kind, and giving lady who will be missed. Mary Demeritt Gordon
