Lora Lee Johnson

Funeral services for Lora Lee Johnson, 69, Eudora, will be 1 pm, Friday October 28, 2016, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

She died Friday, October 21, 2016, at the Medicalodges in Eudora.

Lora Lee was born March 18, 1947, in Lawrence the daughter of Elwood Arthur and Dorothy Rose Pugh Wiggins. She attended Lawrence High School.

She loved doing very large puzzles with her children, paint by number paintings, collecting Elvis memorabilia, and she also had a collection of clocks.

Lora Lee was a homemaker but did volunteer at Wakarusa Valley grade school lunch room for many years. The kids loved her and they called her Chaos. She did taxes for many friends and family each year. She worked part time as a bookkeeper for Hill Chiropractic.

She married Robert W. Johnson Sr. “Bob” on December 14, 1963 in Lawrence, he preceded her in death on January 21, 2004.

Survivors include four children, Danny Johnson, Kelly Johnson, Robbie Johnson, Katie Johnson, all of Lawrence; ten grandchildren; sisters Patty Wiggins, Lawrence, and Candy Norwood, Overbrook.
Lora Lee is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters Judy and Jane Wiggins.

Friends may call from noon to 8 pm Thursday, October 27, 2016, at the funeral home. A visitation will take place from 6-7pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurses or Medicalodges Eudora, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana Street Lawrence, KS 66044.
