Graveside services for Ida Jane Newell, 90, Wellsville, will be 11 am, Monday, April 10, 2017, at Oak Lawn Cemetery, 13901 South Blackbob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062.
She died Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park.
Ida was born June 16, 1926, in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of John Leo and Minnie Jane Howard Brown.
She married Ralph Bustard from Pennsylvania, They were married for 25 years. She married Merle Newell on April 7, 1969 in Kansas City KS. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter Bonnie Logan, De Soto, KS, a son Charles Newell, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Raymond Brown and John Brown.
Friends may call from 1-8 pm on Sunday April 9, 2017, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Ida was my mom’s twin at Arbor Court and even after mom moved we would go and visit. After my mom passed I still went to visit up til the day she moved to be closer to her daughter. I would always take her cat play toys after she lost her dog partner. I always enjoyed my visits and am sorry to hear of her passing. She will truly be missed. Sorry I did not get up to see her at her new place, however our car would not make it. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Pam Mooney
