To the Nation family, my sincerest and most heartfelt condolences. I am just speechless, i’ve thought of you all often over the years and all the good times. Seth was such a good friend to me growing up everything from football to stealing beer out of the “adult” coolers out camping in Lake Havasu. I flew out to Albuquerque for a weekend once while i was in the Army to see him and we had a blast, i just cant believe he’s gone. Too many years have passed since then and now you’re gone my friend. You’ve touched so many lives, we visited the Billy the Kid burial site and there on the tombstone is enscribed one word which i later tattooed on my arm….”PALS” im proud to have had Seth as one of my pals. Damn good man, sad that you’re gone my friend. Your spirit will live on through those you leave behind.

Miss you both dang it.
Seth, you have been a dear nephew and friend for the past 43 years. I was at the Corona hospital the day you were born, along with my parents, and it was so exciting for us all to welcome you into a world that would soon be changed by your dynamic character. You have made me so proud to be your uncle as you grew to manhood, married Lori and raised your wonderful family. You have become one of my favorite authors, with your poetry and Western sagas. You have made your mother and father, brother and sister proud too. You have touched us all so deeply, and you have been an inspiration to all. Adios, mi amigo…now, “Let’er Buck!”
