Messages & Condolences

From Bob Mull...

I just found out about Doug’s passing. He was my all time, lifelong best friend. We grew up together on neighboring farms near Great Bend. We learned life’s early lessons together, sharing values and beliefs. We learned together what loyalty meant. And respect. We had a lot of good times together and I always smile when I think of him. But not today. Today I’m sad that my old friend is gone. My sympathy to all of his family. Special thoughts are with you, Cathi and Clay.

Sheree and family, You may or may not remember me. My first (1979) job was after school part time at Baillys. Doug and Bruce were my boss’s. Doug was a great guy to work for. I was saddened to read about his passing. Way to young. I was unaware of his illness. I have had family members with that awful illness. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless your family.

From Keith and Jean Hall...

Sheree and family: Sharing this with you : ” When we watch someone walking down a road, our eyes can follow that person for a long time. Where the road curves behind a hill, we lose sight of them. This simply means the traveler is in a place beyond our ability to see. Heaven is like that curve in the road. Doug is experiencing things we have yet to imagine and things we can’t see. May you find comfort in knowing that the road of faith that he traveled has led him to heaven’s home.” The Lord knows- the pain you feel, the grief you carry, the tears you cry, the memories you’ll cherish, the comfort you’ll need, the strength you’ll require. We are thinking of you today and know the Lord will comfort you. Our sympathy. Aunt Jean and Uncle Keith
