Carol, I only knew Alan byhow happy you were once you were with him and how your voice lit up when you spoke of him. There are no words to take away the pain. I can only say that I am so very sorry for your loss. May family, friends and time help you heal from this tragic loss. And may your many memories with him, bring you comfort.
Carol – my heart goes out to you, and your family. I consider myself fortunate to have met you and Alan. All the years of the annual June trip to California to play in your tournament – and spend time with both of you, provides such fond, cherished memories. Alan was always such a gentleman, a great golf friend and fun to have a walk and talk with. My last time seeing him was him in his true gentleman form…..I was running late to meet up with you for golf, and he rushed out with a golf cart to get me…..peddle to the medal and a big hug and smile. I will hold on to that image. He is at rest now….and will be missed. You have the support and love of your family and friends through this rough time and your new life in Kansas.
We were so saddened to hear the news. Alan was an amazing guy with such a great heart and loved his smile. We will miss him. Our condolences to you and your family.
Carol, Jill and I want to pass on our deepest condolences to you and your family. Alan was such a great guy and always wanted the best for everyone. I can’t imagine your heartbreak but find strength in the memory of his huge smile and friendly heart. Best Regards, Mark and Jill Carson

There are no words to express how very sad I am for you Carol, especially now as you were moving toward your new life together with Alan in Kansas. His absence from your life will be a profound emptiness and I can only hope that the support of family and the passing of time will ease your grief. Thinking of you and sending loving thoughts your way.
My condolences. Alan and I played several golf matches at Alvamar. He was a great competitor and a true gentleman. He will be missed.
We were so shocked to hear of your husband’s passing. May the Lord comfort you and your family at this sad time. It is so right that you prefer donations to the Wounded Warrior Project as you were such a great contributor to my Bible Study Group in sending packages to our troops in Afghanistan. Thank you and God Bless.

Dear Carol and Family, We are very saddened to hear about Alan’s passing and extend our love and condolences to you. We think of Alan’s smile and friendliness to us. It seems like yesterday that we exchanged hellos and that we saw him take off walking to the tee box on Hole 1. Please know you are in our prayers and thoughts at this very difficult time.
My dearest friend Alan, it is so painful knowing that you are gone. We will always remember the great times that we shared with you and Carol on those wonderful vacations to Hawaii, evening dinners and the laughter that you brought into our hearts. You meant so much to Jamie and I that we will never forget your full of life attitude, your passion for golf and living life with kindness and meaning. You are the kind of friend who can step on our putting line or talk during our back swing and we would still enjoy being with you, we would take those days every time for you to be with us again.
We will pray for you Alan that the lord will guide you through your new journey to reunite you with family and friends of the past. We love you and will miss you my friend, may peace be with you. Our deepest condolences to the entire family, may God bless you all.
