Graveside services for Norma Jean Patterson Hall, 84, Lawrence, will be 2 pm, Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be from 1-1:45, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Norma was born March 11, 1933, in Lawrence, the daughter of Earnest Taylor and Elodra Avella Dodge Patterson.
She married Alvia L. Hall in Lawrence on October 29, 1949, he preceded her in death.
She was an Excellent Bar Tender at every place she worked and everyone loved her. She retired in the 1980’s.
She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and loved to paint.
Survivors include her daughter Diana Tucker, Lawrence; sister, Pat Graham of Plano, TX; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Daniel L. Hall and Dennis L. Hall; and grandson, Nathan L. Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence Humane Society or Wounded Warrior Project, sent in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana Street Lawrence, KS 66044.

I had been expecting Diana’s call for quite a while but it still did n’t make it any easier to hear the sad news of Norma’ s passing. Hoping she has been reunited with the loves of her life sons Dan and Dennis and grandson Nathan.
