Kent Michael Smalter

 

 Kent Michael Smalter, 67, Lawrence, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018.

Kent lived his final 13 years with A.L.S. His grace, dignity, kindness and gentle humor remained intact throughout.

He was born November 29, 1950, in Ottawa, Illinois, the son of Donald and Barbara Smalter.

He is survived by his daughter Kendra Smalter and her husband Cale Parks; a grandson, Florian Smalter Parks; a large family, and a sizeable community of steadfast friends.
