Celebration of life services for Robert A. (Bob) Bendickson Sr., 77, Lawrence, will be from 2-5 pm, June 9th, 2018, at his son’s home in Dodge City, KS.
He died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at his home, surrounded by family.
Bob was born March 9, 1941, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Maynard A. Bendickson and Lorraine Bendickson Sigel. He attended school in Mason City.
He married Sharon Dalluge on September 30, 1961 in Plymouth, Iowa, she survives of the home.
They moved to Dodge City, KS, in 1971, where he worked for Culver and Sons Body Shop and then he owned and operated Bob Bendickson Carpentry and Roofing for many years. Later they moved to Hutchinson, KS for a short time. He lived his final years in Lawrence.
Other survivors include three children, Julie Ann Harbert, Lawrence, Robert A. Bendickson Jr., Dodge City, KS, Holly Jo Bendickson, Lawrence; siblings, Diana Adams, Michael Bendickson; five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jerry, Jack and Linda.

Bob was a outstanding brother and i will miss him for ever he was the best
