Messages & Condolences

From Kathy Pine...

Mr. Krieger touched the lives of many students at Veritas Christian School, including my three children. He shared his time listening to children read, giving each one special attention, commending their efforts, and helping them become better readers. We are grateful for his generous spirit! God blessed our school/students by placing Mr. Krieger in our lives! He will certainly be missed.

From Criss Bliss Tomlin...

Edgar was my neighbor for 25 years. I have missed his intelligence and gentle nature since he moved to Presbyterian manor. I know that his work in this life was done, but it is still so sad to know he is gone. I will miss him.

From Michele Vignola-Rogers...

I would like the family of Edgar Krieger to know the impact he had on the children of Hillcrest Elementary School over the years. I did not have the pleasure of having Mr. Krieger as a teacher, but both of my children were blessed with having him come into their classrooms and read with them. My son is now 20 and my daughter 17 and they still remember how much he meant to them. He helped my children find the love of the written word (on a page of paper – not an electronic device). Mr. Krieger’s legacy is all of the children he reached through the wonderful stories they read and discussed. I can remember the excitement when the kids heard that Mr. Krieger was in the building to read with them. I am forever grateful that he was brought into our lives and I hope he knows how much he was adored! May God bless all of you and thank you for sharing such a wonderful man with us! Rest in peace Mr. Krieger and may there be a comfortable chair and many stories for you to read! You will never be forgotten! Hillcrest Alum – Caelan & Sophia Rogers (and their parents Kyle & Michele)
